Dog permit to fly?

Hi everyone,
I have provisionally booked my dogs plain ticket, I thought I had everything arranged but they said before I travel I will need "permit to fly stamped by the Maltese government" I have looked online and I can only find really dated documents.

Does anybody know how I get a permit to fly and how I can get the Maltese government to sign it?

What airline are you flying with?

Not heard of permit to fly but you do have to pre notify Malta using the form on this website..

http://agriculture.gov.mt/en/vprd/Pages … malta.aspx

The form is returned to you when its approved and stamped, so this may be what they require.
