Thank you for the reply. in you opinion, is it acceptable to negotiate a 25% increase in basic salary from current last drawn salary seeing that the cost of living is significantly higher than Singapore?

The 25% increase comprises of 10% premium on change of job and 15% on inflationary adjustments due to higher living standard.

Cost of living is very high since Abu Dhabi stands second in the list of most expensive cities in the world. Once you start living in this country, you will get to know about the expenses within 2 or 3 months. I suggest not to lose this opportunity since you will have a platform in this country.
