Where to buy a Frozen / unfrozen Turkey in Budapest???

Hi All,

A new american expat here, i'm looking to celebrate the holiday but I can
t find a place that sells Turkeys! Does anyone know anywhere in town to buy the bird?

Check out the large market downtown near the freedom bridge. A few vendors do sell whole turkey's there, good luck with finding the cranberries though, not sure you might have to settle for a bottle of cranberry juice. Pumkin pie I suppose you will have to bake yourself.
I am in the US for a few  months, nice to have a real Turkey day with all the sides with family.
When we are in HU we usually forget the holiday.

Too late a reply to help you this year, but if you are still in the country next year, then I'd honestly suggest checking out the Hotels.  Many have a Thanksgiving Menu and provide the turkey and all the sides to take home with you (pre-cooked!).  It might be considered expensive, but considering many homes don't have the size oven required, and the menus are professionally prepared, it may be an option.
