Hi - can forum members give me any indicators (e.gs. cost of renting a clean, well maintained 2 bedroom apartment in a city suburb, cost of electricity and other utilities per month) for the cost of living in Cambodia?

I've arranged for a flat on the outskirts of Siem Reap for $150 per month and about $20 for utilities but with WIFI free.

Thanks - How good is the internet connectivity? I work in IT and I am used to fibre and a very reliable service, so access to the internet is important to me.

Hi Dougw!

You can rent a nice 2 bedroom apartment for 200 - 400$. Electricity is between 30 - 100$ depending on how much u use the aircon.
It's true internet speeds are below par, but u can have ur own high speed fiber installed for around 200$, monthly cost after that around 60$.

Hope this helps a little.
