Woaw there really seem a lot of things to do in Malta!

me3512

I have visited over 50 countries, and the only 2 places I would like to live are Malta or The commonwealth of Dominica. (not the Dominican republic)

There's a lot to do, The weather is great for the most part, and I like the culture.   Cant go wrong.

These are very touristy things to do...but what to do if you actually live here? You can't do those things indefinitely...especially sightseeing bits. :/

me3512

I have only lived in Malta for 4 months so I dont have a good answer on that one.  It is my understanding that camping is allowed pretty much anywhere on Malta and Gozo and thats right up my alley, so Ill be bringing my tent with me.  I have noticed a lot of mountain and road bike clubs and I am big on learning to sail and Scuba diving.  Theres always fishing, kayaking, sailboarding, hiking, para-sailing and it's also a great place to develop alcoholism if that's your thing :) I certainly enjoy the pub's as well.

There's excellent weather through MOST of the year, and all the waters ports you can imagine.  The country also has an amazing interesting history thats fun to explore.

Also if you get too bored flights to Rome, Venice etc..  are only about 50 Euro.

all sorts of good stuff.  :)

Camping is actually allowed almost nowhere

My tent is packed and I'm ready to head back :)

camping! water sports! venice! rome! I think i am gonna go kill myself! :dumbom:  Besides...getting a visa with a russian passport is a b*tch. But hoping to go skiing somewhere next year! Ah glorious snow at last! We have really different interests hahaha. Hmm you know what I really want to do...watch a drift race. Oh those are awesome. Hm i am gonna go look that up now

me3512

Oh definately let me know anything you find about any motorsports.   Now that sounds perfect!  I am in on any racing.     As for snow I grew up in the white powdery cr.p and never want to see it again.  Between the northern US Iraq and Afghanistan I have had enough but I have to admit kyrgistan is beautiful any time of the year.
