Horse, dog and cat

Post new topic

I am guessing moving the dog and cat with us will be relatively simple but anyone know the rules etc about bringing a pony into Malta with us? Or is that just a big no go :/. Thanks

Have you been to Malta?  One problem would be finding somewhere to keep it, not many
properties with land.

Yes we have been numerous times and I had noticed the lack of land. We are coming again next year hopefully for a couple of months to try and set everything in place x

Look here for more information regarding importing horses to Malta..

I would email or phone then regarding specific requirements but its not going to be cheap.

There are stables around and a facebook page for more information.

How about doing like the Maltese?

Park your pony in the garage , the dog (s) on the roof and the car on the reserved lot in front of the garage .

Works even here in St. Julians ! Just around the corner there are 2 horses in separate garages.

The rent in a stable is around 100 Euros/month with a full-service adding up to 300 Euros or more.
