Dears,

I have all the documents attested as per saudi policy and my proffession is also good enough to apply for family visa. The only issue I have is and I am worried whether it is really going to impact and hamper my process is my salary. My basic salary with  housing and transportation will be 3500 approximately.

Can some advise me please, who has clear cut knowledge and experience on this.

No issues...
Here only profession matters..

Thanks a lot bro. You are sure right ? because few are saying the minimum salary of 4000 to 4500 must.

There are families living in the 3000 bracket...Don't worry

And what happens when your salary is good enough - i.e. More than 5000 but your profession isn't 'listed' as one of the qualifying professions for a family visa?

In that case, your visa request is declined.

Profession on Iqama is predominantly important as family visa provision is for white-collar employees only.

By the way, replying to the OP - Yes, salary certificate is one of the consideration and assessment is done if you're able to support your family on their financial needs. That's the reason they ask for this letter. How much minimum?: Sorry, no idea.

You mean with 3000 salary govt. offered them visa for family because of their eligible Profession and Documents ..right ??

Hello,
if your profession is accepted or allowed to bring your family here, i think there will be no problem.
but i am not sure about the salary. because i know someone who's application got declined because of the salary issue. i think his salary is arround 3k SR.
but better if you try or ask your company HR.
other option check with istiqdam and ask them personally if you are intitled.
Good Luck!

if your profession isn't listed it will be rejected. it will be tough but we all know there is some other ways,
like changing your profession in your iqama, and maybe you can ask someone who can help you regarding that matter.

Hello,

in changing iqama profession you'll need to deposit 1,000 SR either you or your company will pay.
that is as far as i know. You need to specify clearly the profession that you are going to use.
and the supporting documents for it, like your school credentials,  diploma, etc. to be stamped by saudi embassy in your country. ( RED Ribbon included.)
here's a link that might be helpful.

Good luck.

Hello Farooq,

As first check your contract whether your company has given you family status or not.
If yes then don't worry about the salary.

If you have family status then check with your company HR about your profession on iqama. If it is okay to get family visa then you can apply.

If not then you can ask HR to change the profession. It is not a very hard job but you need all the proper documents as said by other members.
