I am Pam a filipino national Im working here in jeddah , in a relationship with a saudi national and im christian. converted into muslim but i didnt pursue it , were 9months being together we have alot of differences from our cultures and believes and the way we live life but were trying and working in all our differences cause we love each other and i know my boyfriend is kinda religious one , i never stop him being what he wants to be , i also do respect the religion that he has, He choose His religion over me . Is the religion for saudi does really affect relationship? please answer me .

Yes, locals have very strong ties to the religion because of some very important & definite factors. But it's not only the religion, there are cultural reasons as well. Imagine putting these two things on one side of the balance.

On the other hand of the balance, put your relationship with him. Which side wins: totally depends on what's the weight-age of each factor.

I might have excessively generalized in these statements. But, this is based on how I see your situation.
