Hello qandeel_k and welcome on board Expat.com

Maybe you should try to see a doctor to find medication help to be able to sleep.

We are not sure how we may be able to help here, as we are a site dedicated to expatriation.

Wish you all the best and hope soon enough you get cured from that home sickness.

As suggested above, medication may be the answer, but will not tackle the root of the problem.  Failing that, a better solution would be to seek counselling to help you to deal with this.

I  would have say that your homesickness will affect your ability to study and could ultimately pull your grades down.  The lack of sleep won't help, but the feelings of homesickness are likely to be at the back of your mind a lot of the time, day as well as at night.

If you can't come to terms with this, even with help, then you must decide whether it is in your best interests t continue your studies here.

Hi there. Sorry for what u going thru, have been in such a situation and i know exactly how it feels. The best thing to do is to try and create a home where you are, find good Friends to hang out with and am sure you will be able to overcome what u going thru.

Have you been making friends? Internations is a site that will help you connect with locals and expats alike-always planning events and people are very friendly.

One thing that helped me was getting a travel book. It made me not want to go home because there were so many beautiful places to visit in the country!
