Hi,

I am coming to Brussels to do an unpaid internship and I really would like find a part-time job on the weekends or evenings. Since my French is intermediary at best, I think my only option would be bar work.

Perhaps you know what is the best way to apply for bar job? Is the good all fashioned coming in and leaving your CV the best way to go?

Your French is intermediary, ok, but Brussels is a bilingual town and even for a job in bar, you must have good notions of Dutch...

Thank you for your reply. I worked at a bar in the Netherlands without knowing any Dutch and it was completely fine with the customers and my boss. So I hope that I have a chance of getting by only with English and French. (in addition to other languages I speak)

To find work in bars, there are no other solutions than seeking old fashion way. Ie watching the ads and go to bars to ask if hiring.

Not forgetting that there is always some kinds of bars to avoid ...
