Hello everyone,

To deter members from proposing their own services following this post, please be reminded that the thread is only for giving suggestions and estimations.

Those who want to propose their own services please refer to the jobs section as mentioned in the VIETNAM FORUM CODE OF CONDUCT   : https://www.expat.com/en/jobs/asia/vietnam/addCV.html

@ Goreme, i also suggest you drop an advert in the jobs section so as you may have a look at the skills/competencies of those who will apply according to your requirements : Housemaid job vacancies in Vietnam

All the best

Thank you Bhavna for the suggestion however, I think members should be encouraged to propose service personnel they have hired.

Especially in developing countries like Vietnam, members may know of those who can perform services who may not have access to a computer or know enough English to post on this website.

This will make easier to share information and provide value on the website.

Thanks for the recommendation and will be sure to contact :-)

Hi Goreme,

They can recommend a cleaner they employed but members who themselves wish to work as cleaner can not propose their own services on the forum.

Vietnam has labor laws/regulations we should comply to that is why we advise members to drop their advert in the Jobs section.

And posting phone numbers and email addresses in the open forum is not a good idea either. Better to send such information via PM.
:)

Tried contacting via phone/email but no answer.  Does she speak English?

The standard is approx. 145 USD for a 40 hr. week for unskilled labor.  This is for full time work.  Since the hours are less (you did not say how many hours/day or if only one day/week or where you are located - city or province).  If you offer strictly the official rate/day you will have less applicants.

A local might also be able to help with buying food stuff from local markets which might actually save you money.

Thanks for the info.  I had posted this in the Danang forum and for some reason it was moved here or maybe I'm just doing it wrong.
