I moved to Cairo one week ago from the U.K, does anybody have any tips or recommendations for life in general here please?

To live here a happy life you should be friendly with people in your business or any activity you make here . Don,t also discuss to any one you don,t know in the streets .
Attending cultural ,social and musician events that you may be public in facebook there are more expats attend and you will find also more Egyptian friendly that want to be friends .

i advise you to learn some arabic , mainly the commonly used idioms .......... so that you are not scammed by taxi drivers or anyone
