Issuing Fiance Visa in different country.

Hi Guys,

Is it possible to have your fiancé visa issued in a different country from which you applied from?

I have waited for 11 months now and I am thinking of taking a long break to the UK very soon.

The regulation says 'You have to apply in a country you are resident in' which I have in Nigeria.

Has anyone perhaps done this? is it possible?

I would suggest the best thing to do would be to contact the appropriate authorities in the country you applied for the visa and ask them.
