Thanks a lot Bhavna.Look i am business man and really i look to do something good in bulgaria,i have read from many tourist how the coffe isnot good(espresso coffe) and i say to my self why? if i sell 2 lev (1 eyro) the best coffee at a modern style shop is very expensive for the people? (sorry for my english is so and so) Thanks !!!!

I find a lot of the coffee to be quite decent here. Most cafes will have one or two well-known brands to choose from such as Lavazza. Often, the execution is lacking in smaller areas, but in the main cities there are decent baristas.

In places the larger cities like sofia and varna, a coffee with milk runs me about 3-4 lv in a nice cafe. In smaller towns, the same coffee and milk would run around 1.50. So, 2 lev would not be a bad price for a cup of coffee.

You should come for two weeks, travel a bit to find the right place for you before you make any decision
Good luck

Hi there,

Many greek companies moved their business to Bulgaria lately, e.g. on th street where my office is was opened a greek owned bakery - they sell variety of bred, sandwiches, sweets, cakes, cofee ... etc.  Seems they are doing quite well.

But this is nothing new to them, as far as I know they run the same business in Greece too. So if you plan to start a new business idea better think carefully in advance.
