Saudi Visa for inter religious marriage

Post new topic

drmeraj

Assalam Alaikum,

This is on behalf of one of my colleague who is a Physics Professor in the engineering college in Qassim. He is a muslim and married to a non - muslim (hindu) girl.
He apparently got the yellow slip from the MOI for family visa based on his registered marriage certificate ( he doesn't have the nikaah certificate) but when his family (wife and young son) applied at the Mumbai Saudi Consulate for passport stamping, it was refused by the authorities who said that he has to bring the religion conversion certificate for his wife otherwise no family visa will be issued.
He is against changing the religion of his wife. Is there any way this guy can approach someone and get his family visa stamping approved in Mumbai because he has decided to return back to Karnataka, India if he is not able to bring his family here.
Kindly suggest a solution for his help!

As-Salam...

My name is Dzul... I am a Muslim from Malaysia living in Jizan Saudi Arabia...

This is not advice on how to get the Visa endorsed but rather to advice on the status of the marriage...

One of the prerequisites of a Muslim Marriage is both Bride and Groom need to be Muslims... Hence the need for the Religious Conversion Certificate. If your friend's wife is a Non-Muslim when your friend is a Muslim, then she is not your friend's wife at all since the was no marriage in the first place due to the above... That's the basis of this situation and I believe it is unlikely that there is a Work-Around-Fix as we call it to resolve this issue other than to have the marriage made proper and legit i.e. The Bride needs to embrace Islam and then marry... Inn sya Allah the Visa Issue will be resolved then... Otherwise, I don't think the Saudi Authorities will knowingly endorse the Visa and knowingly allow them tu commit permanent adultery...

I am sorry if this reply does not agree with you but it is my Solemn duty to give it. This is a case of Halal and Haram in Islam... Not something to trifle with... Wallah Hua'lam...

Thank you very much.

Regards ... Dzul

Get advice from a lawyer or just convert just in sake of the allowance.

It's funny how people get all worked up about higabs and stuff like that in the western countrys, yet back in this place, this stuff is the norm on the other side of the plate.

Dear Brother here is simple explanation;

Muslim and Budish (those people are not believe in any holy book) can't married at all, ISLAM not allowed to them unless they revert to Muslim and accept ISLAM. So on this behalf any Muslim country will not going to accept their marriage, even in court, they can only have legal papers in Hindustan (India) where it's allowed as India is not Islamic country.

Don't mind my dear, are you sure your friend is Muslim? if he is real Muslim he should 100% knows it's haram to marriage a Buddhist woman. Well it's an other topic.

I am sure this is the reason Saudi Arabia will not accept their marriage at all on this behalf agency or embassy will not accepting their request to process visa or else....

May Allah bless your friend.
