Your new local habits in Angola

Post new topic

Priscilla

Hello everyone,

Living in Angola is a great way to immerse in a new culture and lifestyle.

Have you embraced local customs since you've lived in Angola? If so, which one(s)?

Did local customs change the way you see things, appreciate life or organize your daily routines? As far as the language is concerned, did you learn new expressions or words and do you use them?

What do you like most about the lifestyle in your host country? Are there any local specificities you are still struggling with?

Thanks in advance,

Priscilla

Hi Priscilla,

I had just pass through 4 months in Angola. Still newbie. Last week we had a farewell party on top of our apartment. Locals were dancing and celebrating the party. I like the way they dance never seen and its look difficult to me.

I dont speak portuguese. I know little bit of french. But to know numbers in Portuguese is very important  during shop on the street. Greetings in portuguese are becoming normal to me and looking forward to learn more on this language.

Im currently enjoying gym at marginal. Cancando is my favourite market. Looking for nice place for fishing and will try surfing at Cabo Ledo. Looking for a place to learb capoera as well
