Are you living in Angola? We need you to share your experience of the local customs :)

Is it difficult to adjust to the local customs in Angola?

Could you please share with us a list of the do's and don't's in Angola?

Thanks!

DON'T

2. Trust people here to come on time or give you feedback on anything they do

DO
1. Buy a mortorbike
2. Get one or two alternate sources of electricity
3. Work with foreigners on all critical assignments

When using tap water, boil it for 30 minutes or put 5 drops of bleach for every litre (annoying when doing that every day).
And for time... it's "black/african people time", we are never on time. Maybe that's why I hate to be late that much. I rather arrive 10 minutes before than being late. Traumatized !

Is it secure to have anfd drive a motorbike ?

Don't expect drivers driving by rules...
most of them simply buy their licenses :-)
