I'm an American in the process of emigrating to Canada. I'm still in NYC, awaiting final approval. We hope to move by September or October. (Though earlier would be fine!)

I'm happy to answer any questions that I can. I may not have the answers, but I'll tell you what I know.

Why do you want to move to Canada? It's warmer in the USA than here... :-)
Where do you plan to move? To Ontario? Quebec? Another Province?

I want to go to Canada because it's a much better country than the US!! For details, read my blog.

I'm moving to the Toronto area.

Hi Laura-

I am definately interested in moving to Canada. I'm going through a divorce and I am very sick of the civil laws in US. What information is needed and what are the best avenues to getting employment? I assume a job is needed first for sponsorship. I work in pharmaceuticals or looking for some other health manufacturing.
