Can I have my wife checked using my Medicard?

My wife needs check-up urgently but I still haven't gotten her a Medicard although she is my beneficiary. Can I use my Medicard instead? I am an MOH employee. Thanks!

Hi borzmd,

Medical Insurance Cards are issued only to individuals.

Speak with your medical insurance service provider and see if by paying some nominal additional premium amount if your wife could be issued with her own medical insurance card.

And in case your medical insurance card has been provided by your employer, then you must of course have a word with them about including your wife as well.
