Hi friends,

I am from Nepal but currently in Dubai and trying to apply for Thailand so Can you please suggest me, how hard is it to get a job in F&B fields especially in Bartenders. And how much is the salary and hows the living expenses ? I would really appreciate some advises especially from Nepali friends.

I was talking to a Thai bartender just last night. I've known him about a year. He's quitting his existing job and going somewhere. The point he made last night is that the Thai bartending market is very competitive for Thai's. Considering the point that Thailand is very protective of it's job market the idea of a foreigner getting a job as a bartender is generally speaking rare. There are always exceptions. Walking in off the street is probably not one of those exceptions.
Last year I went to Macao. From what I gather they are always looking for English speaking help there, probably bartenders as well. Since they are opening two major casino's within the next year or two they will be needing more help. One is a Steve Wynn property. I understand the pay is good, and the are many people from Nepal and many other places across the globe. The just have a little problem with housing there.
just a few comments.
