Anyone denied of Carne Extranjeria recently?

I'm working for a Korean company's branch office here in Lima, Peru.

I knew this was painfully time-consuming process. Still, I've applied for the carne in July (through a law firm) and my application has been being processed since September. Out of 7 steps, I passed 5 and just initiated step 6 which is Director of Immigration's approval a few days ago. Today, I found out my application was denied. The observation says "Obs. Trámite: SE DECLARA IMPROCEDENTE MEDIANTE RG N° 21607-2016 13/12/2016"

Is there anyone who experienced same problem while applying for Carne?

It doesn't matter about the others. Your case may be unique.

Get your law firm working on it. Could be an error for all we know.

You are fortunate to have a law firm on this. Unlike most Expats, the law firm probably deals with stuff like this every day.
