Hello all!

Today is my last day in the UK before I fly out to Malta, hurrah :)

One quick random question.

Will the mozzies be out in force this time of year, or will I be safe without the repellent when I arrive?

Many thanks

Dunc

Chalks1

Where are you based on the island ?

DanielDon

They're hibernating at the moment and waiting to tear my ankles to pieces when it gets warmer.

They are always here!

Hope you packed your long-johns!

Too cold for mozzies this time of year.

Had one in my flat this morning even though it feels like a freezer, and last winter was getting loads in as well!

Hi
Welcome to Malta!
There are no mosquitoes at this time of year but it can be cold at night at the moment even inside the apartments so make sure you bring jumpers and a coat for outside you will need it! Good luck with the move

Vagrant

We've been swatting mossies all winter. Suggest you get a plug in by the bed, especialy when it gets warmer. Mossies or not, it is still a geat place to be. Welcome home.

Been there 2 months and not had a single one in rooms. Doesn't seem to be many about this year.
