Best hotels, what to do and where to go in Diani

kenyandesi

you planning on taking a break with family? romantic setting or beach fun?
try diani grand reef - expe but luxury
afro chic if you really want to impress and dine and wine in luxury.
otherwise, neptune palm, baobab, leopard beach or flamboyant.
good soccer games at the ukunda field.
day time check out kite surfing at pinewood, buggy racing after diani sea lodge, good drinking (excuse the new alcohol laws) at ushago, or any of the open air bars along the road.
At night try nomads, forthy thieves (stay away for shark attack unless your going looking for local 'bed cuisine'.
If your feeling lucky try the casinos at diani grand and leisure lodge.
food is excellent at nomads, shere e punjab and italian restaurant near chandarana.
otherwise you can go swim with dolphins - chales islans or pili papa dhow - offices at the chandarana supermarket complex.
if your still bored give me a shout i'll throw in another 50 'coast' ideas

there was a place called, I think, Diani Beach Resort, that was just north of Forty Thieves. I may not have the name exactly right but it was set off the beach maybe a hundred yards - run by a man a wife and they had a really good chef there. Does anybody know if it is still there and if so what is it called
