I am an EU citizen.

Could I get a residence permit through self sufficiency based on being employed in a greek company?
I can provide all the necessary official papers (contract, salary, tax statement etc)

I am asking this because I want to avoid obtaining self sufficiency through bank statement. I do not want to put much of my money in the greek banking system. We have capital controls.

If you can prove your income you should be OK, self sufficiency is based on income or capital. We, for instance only proved our income from UK State pensions.
