Hi, I will move soon to Al Khobar from England and I'd like to see in advance if it may be possible to plan some holidays traveling back to Europe.
What kind of Bank Holidays and how are those distributed during the year?

There are three kinds of holidays for the financial sectors.

1- Eid ul-Fitr -- 23-Jun-2017 to 30-Jun-2017
2- Eid al-Adha -- 27-Aug-2017 to 02-Sep-2017
3- National day -- 23-Sept

Is it the same for Engineering / Oil&Gas ?
What is the difference between National and Government / Public sector? There are different types?

Engineering, Oil & Gas, Banks - all are from Private sector.
Public sector is just governmental entities.
National is not a sector, it's kind of Independence day.

Please note that the 2 Eid holidays depend on Linar calendar. Exact dates can't be confirmed at this time. They are usually announced a couple of weeks ahead.

I've just asked my husband and he said holidays are the same for oil and gas. (He works in the same sector. )
