Delay in Visa processing

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this site.

I have a job offer in KSA and have been waiting for a work visa since the beginning of January. When I spoke to my recruiter last week, he informed me that there is currently a delay in the processing of visas secondary to the shamoon virus attack.

Does anyone know if this is factual ?

Yes, that's true.

Shammon's targeted "dot sa" websites and organizations. Hundreds of thousands of computers and servers were affected including those of govt. bodies.

any idea ... how long it will take to become normal?

I have been told that it is resolved and that processing is back to normal however a significant amount of data has been lost, however as I am in Canada and have yet to receive my visa I can not confirm

It was down for almost 3 weeks
Now its working but slowly
So let us wait for some more time
In shaa Allah once it wil okay then your visa stamping issue wil be resolved
So don't worry just chill...
