My question is does the Philippines rely on the US sites - apple.com, amazon.com or are there more local versions of these websites. I see Apple has a Ph website - are the items ordered from Apple coming directly from China where they are made or from the US?
What about Amazon? Is there a Ph equivalent? Lazada?
Thanks for any info.

Wondering this as well. Anyone uses eBay or similar?

I just ordered an iMac from Apple.com/ph. The system shipped from Shanghai via DHL and is sitting on Hong Kong now. Hopefully, it gets here soon.
There are local shopping sites such as Lazada and Shopee. A lot of the products in there ship from China, S Korea etc.

Thru my experience here,I suppose Filipinos more rely on local online shopping sites, such as Lazada and Shoppee. They are quite popular among Filipinos. And the cash on delivery option offers  great convenience. I am a regular at Lazada while shopping online.
