Back on topic,,,, for us that tend to drift,,,,, guilty as charged sir...... my bad.

I and plenty of others have suggested and know full well that the only way to accomplish  an answer to the OP's question is to get your hands dirty, taste the flavours, boots on the ground etc. This tread was posted over 4 years ago with the OP never returning/contributing. Perhaps sitting back laughing at all the responses both on and off topic, who cares.
Peanut butter and rat traps won't help this topic but perhaps a new topic will get a few replies.

OMO.

Cheers, Steve.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I'm 50, from Canada, and have been with a Filipina lady twenty years younger than me for over three years.  We met on a popular online dating site, and now we have a newborn son together. We've travelled to different countries together and I have to say she is the best partner I've ever had in my life.  She is incredibly loyal, beautiful, and an amazing mother to our son.  I've never felt that she was looking for a "backup man" while we have been together. Maybe because I'm already well off financially and pretty good looking...who knows.  But to be honest, it is true that feminism is starting to spread out to South East Asia as well unfortunately.  My advice, stay away from the "women" who are super beautiful...odds are they are not biological women, and here in the Philippines, for some bizarre reason, the ladyboys think it is okay to deceive foreign men right until the bitter end that they are in fact male and not female.  This deception has led to homicide in some cases where the foreigner murdered the ladyboy...so please exercise caution out there and stay safe...always exercise your better judgment.  Take care and be safe :-)

Another egregious  example of the absence of Filipino logic in their psyche - the fact that ladyboys, sometimes overtly, often covertly appear on heterosexual Asian dating sites  :unsure  For the naive newbie to Asian dating some entries are ostensibly very attractive and convincing but even with the latest medical advances sooner or later there wil come the moment of truth :D As I alluded to in my earlier post on this topic always 'assume' the worst

I prefer to HOPE the best but SUSPECT the worst   :)
until I havent see any bad signs in long time with much contact.
I ask a lot so liars get problem to keep order of their earlier lies.  And as I have told before its common scammers give up and try to fool others by I dont give them any money.

((The only times I have been scammed ever are two times by SWEDES, who were so stupid so they tried to scam geting a rather small amount instead of geting much more if they had done things proper instead.  (I dont bother to protect myself any much when Im much more worth for them to keep, but some people are idiots  :)   At one I lost only time and missed incomes but no investment. He scammed some others and got hunted and caught by Interpol for peanuts net if even plus at all.  He LOST a condo and a condo shop when he fled :dumbom::lol:

Hi
If you want to know if someone is who they say they are just check with the Barangay office where they live! A quick email or even a phone call will clear it up fast! If you have someone in country have them check it for you! First thing I always do! If they are a scammer make sure to let the Barangay office know so they can get it stopped!!!!
