Hi all,

New member here and found this site to be very useful.

I am eager to move out of South Africa. I am still young and have no attachments.

I am currently working for Hewlett-Packard in South Africa.

I am looking for some advice on which will be the better part of Central America or the Caribbean to move to? In other words the most Expat friendly.

And getting to the most important part, finding a job!

Any help will be appreciated.

Cheers!

Yud

Welcome on board lou1986 ;)

In which field you are looking for eventual opportunities? Else, you can also try your luck by posting an advert on the Central America Classifieds page, Category>Jobs.

Hi Yud,

Thanks for the response. Looking specifically in the IT industry.

Alternatively I am adaptable.

Cheers

I would recommend El Salvador as Expat friendly in every regard OTHER than finding a job. My experience has been good weather, helpful people, great variety of activities, from the surf to the mountains, and comming from South Africa you know how to stay out of the rougher areas of big cities already. But the job market is tight still. Best of luck in your search!
