Hello everybody

New on here, I am a 60 YO guy, working full time as a Senior Site Manager in construction and a British Citizen living in Wetherby, Yorkshire, my lovely Filipina fiance Jen, arrives England this week on a wedding Visa and we are planning to marry August/September.

Her present UK wedding Visa expires in December when she is planning to return to Cebu anyway because we know she will be really missing her family, however can we apply for her UK Spouse Visa before December and whilst she is still in the UK.

We are planning for Jen to settle here in the UK.

Don't know the exact answer to your question, but my son - living in London and UK citizen - married a girl from US back in March. She was on a marriage visa. They are still waiting for her spouse visa to come through. Lots of paperwork and proofs of everything. It seems that that takes around 3 months for visa processing.

Yes there was lots n lots of paperwork for her wedding Vis, but at least it looks like we can get the application in before December then.
