Dubai or Abu Dhabi ?

Well it actually depends on where is your office located. Living in the same city where you work is most probably the best option.

Living in Dubai and working in abu dhabi or vice versa will take you around 1.5-2 hours driving back and forth which is also a great risk driving specially during foggy season. However, the advantages living in dubai would be, nice developed apartments and cheaper. But if you consider yourself practical and somehow can manage to live your stay here with appreciation to whatever you have now, then you can stay in Abu dhabi and you can still visit Dubai during your off days.

Commuting between AD and Dubai is madness IMO...week in, week out there are multiple vehicle accidents on the highway, many of them resulting in fatalities.

Accommodation may be cheaper in Dubai, but there are plenty of affordable apartments and villas in AD, especially if you don't mind living further out of the city centre.
