Traveling in Sri Lanka in september for first 2 weeks

Hi, i will be traveling in SL this coming Sept, i am planning to go dambulla sigiriya the on day 3 kandy - ella- nuwara eliya and go hiking. Any advice in how many days should i stay in the hill city and what is the weather condition on the first 2 weeks in SL. Thanks for your advice and help

Try to operate from kandy as the central point. Better climate good accommodation all good city facilities. Equal distance to all other places you have mentioned
