Moving to Gozo

My name is Kim Ellis and my husband Keith and I have purchased an apartment in Xlendi Gozo. Initially we will use it as a 2nd home with a view to a permanent move.
We would love some advice regarding furniture etc! We were hoping you could tell us where we could get second hand furniture to start us off! The apartment has no furnishings or kitchen so any advice would be more than welcome.
We will be over in September and hopefully we can have an idea of where to start before we get there. We are so excited about our move. We fell in love with Malta and Gozo and look forward to being involved with the ex=pat community.

Hi Kim,

I don't know of any secondhand furniture outlets. I would suggest using FBook and Maltapark, the latter has a lot of furniture but it's probably mostly on Malta.
Join the Gozone group on FB and you could ask if anyone has any specific items you are looking for.

As most people rent furnished properties as opposed to buying there are not many second hand furniture shops, the only one I know on Gozo is in VIctoria Triq Giorgio Borg Olivier near Eldorado restaurant.
