Making friends

Hi,
My husband and I have tried various clubs (Internations, badminton clubs etc) to try to make friends here in KL but people do not seem to be interested in socialising outside of work. We would love to meet and make new friends (expats and locals) for socialising/sharing meals/sharing sports etc. We have a duplex in Puchong which we use up to 6 months of the year, the rest of the time we are in the UK or thereabouts. If anyone has any ideas on where to meet new people please let us know. Many thanks.

Hi, I'm new here. I also try to make friends but why so difficult here. My husband like to play badminton and I need friends to talk to share recepies, meal or cook together sometime. Maybe we can meet ☺
