Family Residency in Romania

Hello all,

I am planning to relocate to Bucharest for a year ( early 2018) with my wife and child. I am self employed and will not be looking for work inside of Romania, I will draw a scary from the USA. I just want to experience living abroad for a year with the family. We are US citizens, what are the steps necessary to get residency in Romania?
