Hi Guys,

My husband and I have just moved to Johannesburg from Singapore. I'm originally from South Africa but have been abroad for a couple of years. Does anyone know of expat clubs / UK expat clubs in Johannesburg?

We are very keen to meet new and interesting friends here in Johannesburg.

Well I´m also about to move to Joburg (I´m from Colombia) and I´ve been doing some research.

The most interesting expat meeting opportunities are:

meetup.com (there´s an expat meetup group with tons of activities and about 130 members). You might want to check it out here: meetup.com/gautengexpats/

I just found this one today, but it seems to be even larger than the first one.

Hopefully we will have a good time in Joburg when we get there. I've read a lot and it seems like a city of contrasts. Taking propper care and being an open minded person will be enough to enjoy this new experience.
