What vaccinations are recommended or needed if you are planning on moving to Nicaragua?

I don't know of any that are "required", but here are some to consider.

General: Stay up to date on flu, pneumonia, and tetanus shots.

Common shots for international travel (recommended to me by my USA doctor):
Immune globulin
Hepatitus A (Recommended)
Hepatitus B (Optional)

Typhoid shots are sometimes recommended when traveling to Central America, but mainly for travel to Panama.
