Thank you Bill it was a pleasure talking to you. You have a fine way of weighing things up and coming to a sound common sense conclusion based upon the available evidence. Believe it or not I had Exactly the same problem when I tried to reach out on the Old English Sheepdog Club website in the U.S.
OES dot org I wanted to talk about ticks and how my dogs were suffering and all I came up against was a female who wanted to put me down because I had chosen to live in Thailand.

"... and we all know  what you're doing out there ... don't we ..."

Yep there's a lot of scammers out there we all know that, but sadly there's a lot of nasty people out there with an axe to grind too. Not true of yourself, fresh, vibrant able to feel and experience the intense pleasure in being able to spread some warmth and care to people less fortunate than yourself.

You're a good sort Bill and good people are getting harder to find. If I were given the choice I would choose to stay in contact with you, but I will leave that decision up to you. All of the videos  at youtube search under "Olde English Sheepdog Tails" all the videos carry an email address at the  end. You can always contact me there if you would like a chat ... it would be a pleasure.

Kind Regards.

I was trying to post a message and then I found that your topic was shut down. Part of that is because I don not believe in the narrow minded view point of villgaefang. He has a lot of knowledge about Thailand to share but at times it's shallow knowledge. And I have called him on that.

I believe in the 1400's the French came of with an expression, which meant the obligation of the nobility. There are many ways to put it but we are all put on the face of this earth to work and help each other, under any circumstances. Life is not work living without giving and helping each other, and not simply with giving money.

If you are a US citizen you might have to think about going back to the US and getting some help. I have a house In Arizona and because of the retirement population there are opportunities that the Thai's will not give you. Plus the are people of age in which they too know that giving is good and at some point in time they too may need some similar help. Just a few thoughts.

best wishes.

Thank you Bill, actually I am British or a 'Limey' as you guys would have us known.

Now wouldn't life be that much nicer if a few more people thought like you.

All the best Bill, anytime you feel like a chat you know where I am.
