Resignation within a week from my employer

Post new topic

Hello Guys,
Need help..!!!
I joined a company a week before . The actual job described and the physical work differs. The employer is asking me to learn and proceed with the job but as it is not my field of studies, i need to quit my job. As per the agreement, being in probation period, i submitted my resign letter via post with immediate release request. As per my agreement i can leave a one day notice for resignation provided i will bear all the expenses company spent on me. It was a one year work visa. My question is, after reciept of the resignation letter, what are the further proceedings from the employer? How long will it take to get my passport with visa cancelled? How can i get out of this.

Awaiting your valuable informations.

Regards
Bibin

Sorry to hear about your situation, Its best you sit with your employer and discus the exit terms.

As per my contract, i can resign either by givng a 30 days notice or by paying one mnth salary for immediate release .
In that case even if my employer is responsible for my release right???

If there is an issue you can approach LMRA or Ministry of Labor with the contract and explain them the situation.

Hi.
Do you need permission to leave after terminating the employment contract?

Of course I need permission, else they can file 'run away' case against me. After stamping, my passport was also in their custody.
