Hi - My wife and I are looking to move to this area and are trying to get a good feel for the cost of living there. We will likely rent to start with but if all turns out well will buy in the near future. I am trying to get a feel for the general day to day costs of living on the caye. We are vegetarian so meat products are not an issue and I assume fish is easily available. Can someone help us with some information.

I will suggest you to view this website to get an overview of the approximate cost of living in Belize. It listed the price of the basic "items/services" that am sure will be helpful to you to calculate your monthly/weekly expenses.
