Hi! my name is Christy Van Amstel and my husband is from Holland. We married 2 month ago. Before we married I am working in dubai as Teaching Learning support I just went netherland for 3 month to have our wedding. now im back dubai, and I am planning to take a Basic Civic Integration Exam. I just wanna know what would be the 1st step should I take regarless of this matter. I did my self study in dutch when I was in Holland, with the help my husbands family, I understand basic dutch. I also wanna know how long it will take to prepare for this exam. Can anybody give some advice ?

As the spouse of a Dutch citizen, I don't believe you have to go through the Integration system. This link will take you to the IND website that explains the process and provides a step by step guide at the bottom.
