Hi!
In the process of moving a family of 4 to Amsterdam and I'd appreciate help with links, costs, logistics of an international move. I will start my new job on june 1st.

Specifically:
average cost and timing for a door to door move (16 cube meters or so, mostly boxes, 1 bed)?

Depending on what you want to do, move for years? I would come over with suitcases and buy new goods etc..... Put any sentimental items into storage.

Do you already have accommodation sorted?

When we did it, I got my company to pay for the relocation costs; then we just called Pickfords and they did everything for us; they even packed and transported the household rubbish bin (full) !!!
