How to get a residence document?

Hello,
Hope all is well.
I recently wanted to buy a motorcycle. I m on tourist visa (and applying for student visa, just waiting for the documents now). I got a good motocycle deal, how can I get the residency document in order to transfer the motorcycle to my name ?

Where do you live? Are you in a hotel? Renting a house? Own a condo?
Need a little more info.
