Hi all, I'm Jason and new to the community 
I'm moving to Jakarta in January and will be working around Central and South Jakarta near Parasaya.
I'm trying to find a decent 1br/studio place that's not super luxurious nor very low quality since I'd rather spend my money elsewhere and I'll hardly be home anyways.
Does anyone have any suggestions? So far I've had decent look on Airbnb and this site.

Jakarta's traffic ranges from crazy to suicidal so get the exact address you'll be working at and check:
Places within walking distance
Places on the Transjakarta bus routes if you're on one
Places on the train lines, if there's one near your office.
Transport can be a bit sardine can but it's quick and cheap and can save you a fortune in rents.
What a tiny box in South Jakarta will cost gets you a 2 bed in a secured estate not more than 20 or 30 minutes away by train.
