Vietnam-China Border by Motor Scooter

Hi Everyone,

Travelling from Saigon to Hanoi via scooter. My question is can I take my scooter across the border into China and any issues with doing so? Oh and yes I have no issues with entering China at the border. My question is all about crossing with a Vietnam bike.

Don't forget your foreign/international driving licence is not valid in China.

It would be cheaper to get a bike in China directly. If you have a "special" bike you should take the same precautions as in VN.
