Can dependent Husband on wife's Iqama renew iqama while outside KSA?

My husband is outside KSA and our Iqama's are expiring. Can his be renewed while he is outside?

I guess His iqama will also expire with yours. The employer has to renew his iqama.

No it is not possible to renew when any expat is not available in KSA.
