how costly is the housing? what is the minimum a single male has to pay as a monthly rent?

This is Kwanza or American dollars?
- accomodation (appartment, or house) - can be anything from $6000 to $10000 per month for a proper flat where everything works including the generator, aircons and the elevator.

Now a days you should be careful as rents are down , need to negotiate with the owner. if you want to rent a room you will get in 1000 to 1500 $ in decent location. it depends where do you want to rent a house as there are some reliable agents who help you and take you around for the selection of the accomdation.
accomdation vary from 1000 $ to 30,000 $
