Hello,

We invite you to share information regarding some of the apps that have helped to facilitate your move abroad in Armenia. This will help expats-to-be who are making the move as well.

Which apps did you use while preparing your move to Armenia?

What apps do you use the most for your everyday life in Armenia: whether it's for transport, managing finances, general information, learning the language of your host country, leisure activities, etc.?

How does this technology help you in your everyday life as an expat?

Which apps would you recommend to expatriates in Armenia and why?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Hi guys,

If you want to move in Yerevan, taxis are everywhere, but you can use two apps :
- GG (like Uber)
- Yandex (a taxi company)
You pay via the apps, you know where are the closest taxis, you choose which type of car you want,... They are very good !

Otherwise, taxi fees start at 600 drams for 4km and then 100 dram per km.
Usually, I had to pay 700-800 drams to go from Mashtots Avenue to Yerevan Mall.
Compares to Paris, it's nothing !!!

For the langage, I'm using Babbel. Perfect for me for russian and italian. I think it's a waste of time to learn armenian.. Only spoken in that country and they all speak russian, which is used in lot of countries.

If you're looking for relationship (business, friend, other), you can use the InterNations app. It will help you to know when and where there are meetings, dinners,...

Cheers
