Hi friends. My Self VinayKumar. Working as IT Technicion. One of Super Market in Jeddah. I have a Family emergency in my country My wife is hospitalised due to accident head injury.I have came to Saudi Arabia on 12 July 2017. I have applied for the emergency leave but my sponsor is not approving the emergency vocation. Any how I have to go to India to save my wife life. agreement is two year's even they are not allowed to take Yearly vocation 21 Days. I have also submitted medical proof's.  What I cab do in this my situation. Can I able resign the Job. Please suggest me your valuable suggestion to go to my country. Please help me any one

Hello everyone, I am Ay from Nigeria.My doctor spouse got a job through Moh to work in Hafar al batin but has not been posted to where he will work yet. He intends to move me and our toddlers there together for the first time. So please how is life there generally and what should I expect. I was told i wont be permitted to work but can I work after the 90days expires? I am just too nervous about what lies ahead. I hope everything works out fine.

Actually, your predicament is common in this country but depends on the company.  In my company any emergency case/s is giving immediate action so we don't have any kind of situation such as yours.

If you have your own vehicle I suggest that you may seek the help of the Labor Ministry in this case.  Take with you all the necessary documents, as much as possible must be with Arabic Translation.

And from the Labor Ministry, you will know what is next.

But let me be frank with you, you can not save the life of your wife in being with her there in India.  You can only be with her so that you would know the real situation of your wife.

In cases like yours as per upgrading, you may seek your HR department.  Don't seek help from foreigners because all of them here seek assistance as well.

If your HR Department doesn't know how to help you, google it, you might find some answers.  Unless otherwise, we have some expats here who can really help you, then perhaps seek their help.

Welcome to the new modern of Saudi Arabia. It is a little bit different culture but you will fit with it. Regarding hospitals, most of them has lots of patients lools. Good luck u will enjoy

Diving in Riyadh? can be done if you have car that would like to dive in the desert! I am not joking I see a lot of vehicles that go up to the mountain of sands then diving down!!!!  If you meant diving as in deep sea or ocean diving you may visit the Eastern Province and the Western Region because in the Eastern Region they do have the Half Moon Beach and in the Western Region they do have the Red Sea oh beautiful indeed!

Well I can join you in watching a lot of movies or tele-series (lol) with popcorn and non-alcohoic beer in can (another lol)!!!!   I'm also in Riyadh so I can accompany you if you need one (but I don't know if you like an old timer like me for a company, but definitely you can't have a lady to accompany you since this is not an open city or country, I 'm sure you knew that long time ago!
