Hey!

I was wondering how expatriates spend their free time. Probably we can discuss here and create more opportunities of entertainments in Shanghai :D

Sport: Squash
Fee: RMB 60
Location: line 9 xin zhong road
Time: every sat and sun 1pm and 6pm

Book: forgot the name, but from mirakumi (one of my favourite author).

Restorans: Yet to explore :D

Gym: Pudong Wanda Plaza Mall  (wellness fitness centre)
Fee: about rmb 3800 per year.

Hi,Nicole.

How are u doing?

Sport: I suggest you go to fitness clubs where there are swimming pool, yoga curse and so on.It doesn't cost much,I am in Will's Fitness Centre in Huangpu, and it costs 1800 yuan per year.

Book: Shanghai Liberary is the best choice. If you are one of the members, you can borrow books for free.

Restorans: Well, just google it and pick a convenient and nice one.

I hope it helps.

Cheers.

Hey JL,

Omg..Obviously I'm being ripped off about the fitness centre membership? :(

Yeah, which library are you talking about? Do they have any foreign books available as well? How much does it cost to be a member there? How to reach there?

Thanks JL!

Hi,Nicole.

I am talking about the Shanghai Liberary in Huihai Rd.There are foreign books as well.Members are free to borrow the books, and of course one should pay the deposit first.

I don't know ur location,so I can't tell how u can get there,me I go there about twice a month.Maybe we have a chance to go there together.

U r welcome.

Cheers.
